What we believe

Our statement of faith - what we believe here at The Station

We believe the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, completely true and inspired, establishing the infallible basis for all the Church believes and does.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 17:17, Hebrews 4:12

We believe God has existed in relationship with himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in 3 persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, each possessing equal power and authority.

Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of all, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son and our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.

Genesis 1:1, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Romans 10:9, Luke 1:35

We believe in Jesus’  death, burial, and resurrection; He ascended to heaven, where He rules alongside the Father, and He will return to earth one day to rule and reign.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, Ephesians 1:20-21, Acts 1:11

We believe that man and woman are created in the image of God (Imago Dei).

Genesis 1:26-27

We believe that humanity was created by God but fell into sin, leading to separation from God and a need for salvation.

Genesis 3:6, Romans 5:12, Isaiah 59:2, Romans 3:23, Acts 4:12

We believe that God offers forgiveness for all sins and eternal life through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, who secured our redemption through His atoning sacrifice and resurrection.

John 3:16, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 1:7, Romans 3:24-25

We believe in the unified church, the living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and who all born again are a part of.

Ephesians 4:4-6, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Ephesians 1:22-23, John 3:3

We believe Israel is distinct from the Church and central to God's plan, past, present and future.

Ephesians 3:5-6, Romans 11:1-2, Romans 11:25-26

We believe the function of the Church is to glorify God by sharing the Gospel through evangelism and building up believers through teaching, fellowship, and worship, as the living Body of Christ on Earth, as we await his return.

1 Corinthians 10:31, Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 4:12, Acts 2:42, Titus 2:13
